Don’t get it twisted: the Wildcat is first and foremost a powder ski. Just because you’ve heard time and time again about people who got a pair for deep days and now use them as a daily driver, or talked to friends who bought them for their playfulness but found them surprisingly composed at speed and sturdy in chop, we’d advise you not to take that to the bank. While we don’t disagree, we won’t go so far as to recommend them as your daily driver either.

The Wildcat got loose from the pow ski box we put it in on day one, and clearly its not coming home anytime soon. They say when you love something, let it go, and if that means letting people discover how frustratingly versatile, forgiving, agile yet dependable and strong the Wildcat is in conditions no powder ski should be subjected to—how it can rail hardpack like a baddy, stomp switch landings in the park, and surf pow all in the same lap—then who are we to try and keep it under lock and key? It is a Wildcat for chrissakes, not some domesticated feline.

The original heavyweight is for many the origin of the phrase ‘playful charger’—it floats and slashes like a dream but don’t get it wrong—it has plenty of horsepower, so when the pedal hits the metal it keeps on giving and begs you for more.

But just so we’re upfront about it: it’s a pow ski. Nothing more, nothing less.

At this point though, if you haven’t experienced just what the Fatcat can do well then it’s time to put up or shut up.

    • This is a general guideline. If you weigh less than average for your height consider sizing down. If you weigh more than average for your height consider sizing up.
    • The Meridian Tour is a stiff, fully rockered ski. This means it will maneuver easily while maintaining stability at speeds.
    • If you are still on the fence and ski confidently and aggressively size up. If you ski more conservatively or timidly size down.
    • The appropriate size will depend heavily on how you intend to use your skis and where you do most of your skiing. Take these into consideration.
    • Beginner assumes a basic understanding of and ability to ski. For those who have never skied or cannot ski down runs without falling we recommend renting/demoing to start.

Mustache Rocker

ingredients

Full length, knot free, vertically laminated in house. Our poplar / ash core provides a unique blend of liveliness and outstanding dampening, allowing for playful platforms that charge hard.

Extruded sidewalls constructed of modified Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) provide stiffness, dampening, and durability, which allow for more impact resistance and easier repairs that stay put so you can bring the abuse year after year, season after season.

A custom blend of triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber that provides torsional rigidity along with longitudinal pop and composure at speed.

We use a textured nylon topsheet material enhanced with sublimated graphics‒a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to silkscreen. We chose this topsheet material to ensure optimal durability and impact resistance while maintaining crisp and bright graphics.

Skis are tools not treasures and that means they need to take a beating which is why use carbon infused sintered UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Harder, faster and with better wax absorption and retention than extruded bases this is the industry leader for performance and longevity.

Rubberized VDS foil is placed at strategic locations throughout the construction to increase bond strength and provide vibration damping for more stability and increased control.

There are only a handful of edge manufacturers in the world. We go straight to the source for the best of the best. We use only 2.2mm Rockwell 48 hardened steel edges. Heat treated additionally in house to ensure you get nothing but the absolute most out of your skis.
