  • Ghost Train

Back by popular demand - the surfing man's powder ski.

This reserve ski is available in limited quantities.

There is no guarantee we will restock this ski when it sells out.

Another cult classic back from the dead, by popular request.

Way back when reverse-reverse skis had their time in the sun. While there is still no better tool for surfing untouched blower, days like that are fewer and farther between, and reverse-reverse designs can be dead scary in anything short of double overhead.

That’s where the Ghost Train comes in. Early taper, flat camber underfoot, and more splay than you’ve seen since the early oughts—all for the silly fun slash-ability we all crave, along with some actual grip on hardpack and a tail you can stomp and stand on without looping out. The secret is a bastardized take on Triple Camber Technology that we’ve kept closely guarded under lock and key. We won’t tell if you won’t. Except we just did.

The Ghost Train is what most of us consider the yardstick against which all powder skis are measured. If we’re being completely honest, we’re not bringing ‘em back because of your begging and pleading (IYKYK). No, there are just a few in our own quivers that need a refresh, and we might as well bring you along for the ride.

      • This is a general guideline and is only a basic suggestion of the proper size. Where you ski, how you ski, and what skis you've ridden in the past should be taken into consideration.
      • The Ghost Train is a stiff, fully rockered powder ski. This means it will maneuver easily while maintaining stability at speeds, don't be afraid to size up.
      • If you are still on the fence and ski confidently and aggressively size up. If you ski more conservatively or timidly size down.
      • Beginner assumes a basic understanding of and ability to ski. For those who have never skied or cannot ski down runs without falling we recommend renting/demoing to start.
If you are unsure, have questions, or feel your recommended size is incorrect, please chat, call or email us. We are happy to discuss specific sizing based on your build, skiing style, and existing quiver / past skis.

    Handlebar Rocker

    ingredients

Full length, knot free, vertically laminated in house. Our poplar / ash core provides a unique blend of liveliness and outstanding dampening, allowing for playful platforms that charge hard.

Extruded sidewalls constructed of modified Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) provide stiffness, dampening, and durability, which allow for more impact resistance and easier repairs that stay put so you can bring the abuse year after year, season after season.

A custom blend of triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber that provides torsional rigidity along with longitudinal pop and composure at speed.

We use a textured nylon topsheet material enhanced with sublimated graphics‒a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to silkscreen. We chose this topsheet material to ensure optimal durability and impact resistance while maintaining crisp and bright graphics.

Skis are tools not treasures and that means they need to take a beating which is why we use carbon infused sintered UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Harder, faster and with better wax absorption and retention than extruded bases this is the industry leader for performance and longevity.

Rubberized VDS foil is placed at strategic locations throughout the construction to increase bond strength and provide vibration damping for more stability and increased control.

There are only a handful of edge manufacturers in the world. We go straight to the source for the best of the best. We use only 2.2mm Rockwell 48 hardened steel edges. Heat treated additionally in house to ensure you get nothing but the absolute most out of your skis.

Great Buying Experience, One Small Regret

Thanks for the careful shipping to Japan—I really appreciate it! I was able to get both the Ghost Train and Deathwish. I haven’t ridden them yet since they’re for next season, but I wanted to share a bit about the buying experience. For the Ghost Train, I had it on pre-order, and once I got the update that production had started, I was able to complete the purchase—smooth process overall. As for the Deathwish, I already had the touring version in the same size and really liked it, so I wanted to pick up the regular version for more aggressive conditions. I was stoked to score a cosmetic blem version at a solid price. There’s just one thing that stuck with me. Back in March, the Chipotle Blades were listed as sold out, and when I reached out, I was told you wouldn’t be back until next season. So I signed up for restock notifications. But right after I bought the Deathwish in April, I got an email saying one Chipotle Blades pair was back in stock.Since international shipping from Japan is pricey, I had to pass on it—unfortunately. If I’d known there was a chance they’d come back or still had some in stock before I bought the Deathwish, I would’ve definitely ordered both together. That’s the one thing I really regret.

    Awesome powder skis

Went to the shop to get them mounted. Very nice employees who were very competent in their skills. Skis were mounted before I finished the free beer they gave me. Happy to support this local company and would do business with them in the future.

Face The Thing That Should Not Be

Crawling chaos, underground. Cult has summoned, twisted sound. Out from ruins once possessed. Fallen city, living death. Fearless wretch. Insanity. He watches. Lurking beneath the sea. Timeless sleep. Has been upset. He awakens. Hunter of the shadows is rising. Immortal. In madness you dwell. Not dead which eternal lie. Stranger eons death may die. Drain you of your sanity. Face the thing that should not be.
