Killer ski! To start they look sick with a graphic that fires me up to earn those turns. After dialing in my setup with the ATK X Moment Voyager XV Evo bindings they connected me to every condition the Eastern Sierras can throw at me and I loved it. Going from Dynafit Blacklite 95 to the Deathwish 104 was exactly what I was looking for. Long days in the Virginia Lakes and Bridge Port area on these skis paired with my K2 Mindbender 130 boot built my confidence for daring lines, the freeride spacers on the Voyager XV kept the power transfer orgasmic. Long story short, light weight skis that still skis chundery conditions like a heavy resort ski. Paired with ATKs greatness, i've wanted to chase big days outside of the resort more and more.

Got to test these out for the first time from the summit of Mt. Baker. The Roman wall never quite softened and I was a bit gripped to be making my very first turn on a new ski on something that committing. No worries though, the DWT 104 was quite intuitive and held an incredible edge. Lower down when things finally corned up I was able to break the tail free and surf around like I was a snowboarder again. And in the trees on the luge exit these bad boys felt precise and forgiving making what is sometimes a terrifying experience a joy ride. Oh and they feel super light on the feet making the up easier and also making jump turns and technical skiing much less exhausting.
I know people say the triple camber is polarizing but for me, I never even thought about it. These skis just felt immediately intuitive for me and it does seem to make them incredible versatile.

Great skis. These are Lighter and ski better than my blizzard hustle 10s. the tail skin divot (clip) works very well. Fun to ski even in crusty snow with the large amount of tip and tail rocker. 184 is plenty of ski while also not being too much ski for touring missions with bobsled skin track exits.

These skis seem to avoid obeying the laws of physics. I have been iterating on a good general/light touring setup and volcano setup for a few years now, balancing various tradeoffs. This year have been driving a pair of DWT104s for everything backcountry in the PNW, and think that in designing these skis, Moment decided not to look into what "tradeoff" means at all. These things don't trade anything off, they do it all. They are total hoot on smooth surfy snow, and corn, hold one mf'er of an edge on crust and ice, and have enough float and rocker to bounce around in a foot of fresh. For anything more than that, I switch to my Wildcats in 116. I mounted a pair of Plum Oazo 8's on them myself and the setup only adds a few hundred grams to each leg over my previous Uber low weight volcano setup, and I do not feel that weight at all when climbingI am baffled that such a light ski can feel so good on the uphill and still be so stable, confidence inspiring, and damn fun going down literally any condition. And I do mean every condition. I have taken these down tight, steep, icy couloirs, and was stomping jump turns and even opening it up into G pullers where I would otherwise be side stepping, hooting with confidence and joy while my partner followed in survival skiing mode. I have taken these down Mt. Hood skiing over a coral reef chicken head death cookie hellscape, and the edges bit in hard, stayed under my feet, and I found myself actually laughing at the conditions I was riding over that would have likely sent me into a road rashed death slide on any other ski. In more enjoyable conditions, these things really encourage you to open it up, jump around, pull g's, or slash the tails out and spray down your buddies, you can do it all, you only must will it, and the skis happily oblige. Moment sought out to design a quiver killer with this ski, and they really did it. This ski has proven itself to be a blast in standard PNW conditions as well as spicy, deep, remote missions and ski mountaineering.

This is my new favorite ski! I put a pair of Voile TTS tele bindings on these bad boys and it's an absolute blast. I've only had them for a month but have skied multiple days in bounds and in the backcountry. It took me a few days to get used to the triple camber, but now I love it. They carve pretty darn well yet still manage to be awesome tree and mogul skis. Even on dedicated resort days, I'm finding myself wanting to reach for these instead of my usual in bounds setup.

Lightweight responsive and predictable. Everything you could want in a backcountry ski that will inspire confidence on any run. If you want more play and free style riding definitely go for the wildcat 101

Essentially the only 100-110mm twin touring ski on the market (unless you go custom somewhere). First winter on them and zero complaints. I've never skied the regular Deathwish, but these feel very stable for their weight, hold an edge well, and float well for a 104mm ski. Tails disengage easily for slarving around, but they have a backbone when you need to charge them. Perfect balance of weight/performance for a 1 touring ski quiver (east coast). Used them on everything from 1 feet of now in Utah to East Coast brick. Skins stay pretty well on the tail - not as secure as a flat tail with an inset, but very secure for a twin tip. They did come out of the box with very sharp edges and I had some sidewall chips early on riding them, but otherwise no durability issues. Voyager XV EVO on them is a perfect set up. Very easy to use, feels light up, stable on way down. 10/10 recommend

Real talk. The majority of backcountry skiers young & old would highly benefit from committing to this ski. Its versatility is unmatched. Moment makes great skis but the layup and unique design of this legend stands out. I sincerely hope history awards Moment the recognition and benefit it deserves for creating this ski touring masterpiece but in the meantime my eyes will light up every time I reach for this ski before I head into the mountains.

Love the Deathwish! I have the alpine version already. Bought the tour version and am very happy with it. Same ski, just lighter. The Voyager bindings are great too. Very light on the way up, secure on the way down.

I bought these for missions to Mount Washington, and I found something special. Mounted with the voyager, they are super versatile. Light on the way up, but powerful on the way down. A strong ski in all conditions I’ve encountered in the BC. It feels like it wakes up the harder you push it, it really encourages you to make the most of the line you worked so hard to get to the top of

As a skier for my whole life, this is the first ski that’s made me actually prove that I can ski it. I mounted these tele, and I’ve had nothing but a great time on them! All they want to do is charge whatever you throw at them, and they make no compromise in build quality, ski ability or weight. They’ll do whatever you want, as long as you make sure you’re the one in charge. If not then they’ll take you for a ride

Picked up a pair secondhand with some ATK Raiders. I’m amazed at these skis, I was expecting there to be some noticeable compromises from the non-touring oriented skis I own but nope, they charge and rip just fine for a ski that’s shockingly light. It’s a joy carving and slarving and more on these and if there wasn’t added risk from pins I’d daily these every chance I get. I’ve taken these in bounds so far to get them dialed in for touring and it’s been a ball. 10/10, would recommend to all my friends, makes the rest of my skis feel almost obsolete

I have toured on the Deathwish 104 Tour for a full year now, and honestly, they are the reason I’ve become a total convert. I loved the performance of the Tour version so much that I actually went out and purchased the standard version, effectively parting ways with my other skis to shift my entire quiver over to Moment.
Now that I have the resort version to compare against, I am consistently blown away by how close the Tour version feels to the original. Usually, lightweight touring skis feel nervous or tinny in variable snow, but Moment’s "Lowfat Layup"—which keeps dense Beech wood in the core—solves that completely. It dampens vibrations and tracks through chop in a way that typical carbon touring skis just can't.
The Tour version really doesn't feel like it lacks much of anything compared to its heavier sibling. The only real trade-off is a slight drop in stability at the very top end of speeds/chop, but considering the weight you save on the uphill, that is a compromise I am happy to make. These skis are the real deal and have officially made me a Moment believer.

This is probably the most fun I've ever had on a touring ski. Powerful enough to bust through crust and crud, but playful enough to still be fun in powder. The triple camber inspires tons of confidence when the conditions get variable, so you can really ski your objective.

This is my second pair of Deathwishes, first time opting for the fancy schmancy touring model. Out of the box, holy lo-fi. These graphics are so bright and so dark? at the same time? with a sci-fi graphic that comes with its own opening credit from Hans Zimmer.
Besides these being the damn stylish, when people ask me "Oh, how do those ski?" The only metaphor I can come up with is, "You know how Japanese bullet trains are actually not touching the track? They're somehow levitating and held down to the tracks by powerful magnets. These are like that."
They float over crud and schmoo, yet just keep you so centrifugally IN your turns. I take them everywhere. Backcountry, in bounds, PAAARK, whatever gender spectrum of piste you're identifying with these days, this is the outfit you're wearing.

Light and nimble yet solid underfoot, busts through suncups and slarves corn like a champ. All smiles and stoke on the descent. Uphill travel and transitions could be made easier with less tail rocker but not a complaint. ATK fr15 102mm brakes fit perfectly with 108 ski crampons to boot. My new favorite spring volcano tour skis!!!

Read the review on the High Route and couldn’t agree more with its take away. Playful, like the regular 112 DWs I have, but light enough to be a good all around touring ski. Given what they are and made for the only tweak would be flattening out the tail a little bit. Spent a month after buying them in the PNW and they rocked; handled the icey cold at Bachelor, didn’t break me on the skin tracks on Adams or Hood, and absolutely ripped on the way down!
