Yup. The hype is real. In my view, triple camber is my favorite invention for skiing, hands down. It's poppy, it's fun, it's light, it's gorilla-grip on all forms of snow. But the best thing about the DW112? It doesn't remotely feel like a 112...until you want it to (float, powder, soft stuff). Otherwise, these pivot and carve with ease like technical wizardry. Honestly, on groomers or spring soft/slush, you'd be hard-pressed to find a day that doesn't feel like these things are actually 98/100mm underfoot, maybe even 92-94mm. These things absolutely rip, the most fun ski ever. I was on the fence about a 104 vs a 112 and, since they're Moments, I doubt I'd not love either one. Only use case I can see for the 104 having more of an advantage is when you want something a little damper (the 112 is shockingly lightweight and bouncy and softer than I expected, coming from Wildcats) and that turns/pivots even more-on-a-dime than the 112. My guess is that the DW112 is the "true" one-quiver-ski from Moment (and thus the world) and the 104 is (as they claim) more damp and somewhat more capable and quick turns/pivots (especially at slower speeds). But don't be fooled: the DW112 is absolutely more-than-capable as daily driver. And I'm sure the 104 is, too. I ended up doing a funky all-terrain build on these bad boys with a DIY-version of the Voyager binding for side and backcountry access. Shockingly way more lightweight than I'd have thought, have completed quite a few "bigger vert" tours and couldn't be happier with the build. Would the DW Tour be easier on the way up? For sure. But these babies are sooooo fun on the way down, especially with those ATKs and Freedride spacers. Plus, it's kind of bad ass to take your tour set up on the lifts and be able to explore tourable resort terrain.

Handle all terrain, all conditions beautifully they shine in STEEP pow but love crud my size at 112 and 190 is a rocket ship in moguls but has the dampening I need for when I case a hard mogul or get buck wild, these skis give me a death wish!

I’m a Moment convert and I love the versability of the Moment Deathwish.
Though I’m Swedish, I am very fortunate as I live in La Grave, France, since 4 years, a unique ski village with unpatrolled, unsecured off-piste skiing with up to 2200 metres of vertical drop.
A full run here from top to valley can take you from perfect powder on the glacier, through steep couloirs, open chopped up bowls, long and very difficult traverses and lower valley exits with bad, icy and difficult snow.
The Deathwish is a true all-in-one ski that magically manages all this in a great way.
I also ski the Wildcat and the Deathwish 104, that I also find great, but the versatility of the Deathwish 112 is unbeatable.
All-in-all I have a quiver of way too many skis, including 8 pairs of Moment skis, a bunch of 4FRNT skis that I also love for their individual application (soft snow).
176 cm / 68 kg / and I prefer the 190 cm skis over the 184.

I was a Volkl Shiro guy for years. I loved them with all my heart. After they were discontinued I went to a Blizzard Rustler 11. They were ok, but the deep trusting relationship I’d had with my Shiro’s was gone. On the advice of a friend and after reading the reviews I took a chance on the Moment Deathwish, and ordered them sight unseen. By my 3rd run I knew I had found love again. I am 5’11” 165lbs and I ski pretty aggressively in all terrain, at least 60 days a season. There is something about the design of this ski that puts me perfectly in balance over the sweet spot. I find them to be incredibly nimble and intuitive. I went with the 184’s and they are perfect. Thank you Moment!

Incredibly versatile with a huge sweet spot and at home on almost anything except for ice, the Deathwish loves to dance and responds strongly to microadjustments and weight shifts. Coming from a traditionally mounted ski, it was a bit of an adjustment but so worth it imo. This ski begs for creativity and using all parts of the ski while moving thru varied terrain. The centered stance feels more natural and easy on my body than the Nordica Enforcers I used to love. I've also never been on a ski that acts so differently depending on where the weight is and that is a good thing. Put a little weight back or lighten up the tip and it will become surfy and roll over crud, move it forward and it turns with ease more like a directional carver.

I'd read reviews and finally broke down and bought a pair. I wish I'd had pulled the trigger earlier. They truly are a quiver of one. Powder great. Groomed cruiser like you're on rails. Bumps, great. At 72 i'm still hitting the double diamonds and the woods and at 150 months in a row. My next skis will definitely be deathwishes!

First experience with Moment skis. Death wish did not disappoint. Graphics will scare away the weak! Ski’s rip in all conditions! I ski mostly east coast crud and groomers. They slay the crud, slash bumps and carve troughs on the groomers. Spent a week in Summit County and crushed the steepest terrain I could find. Skis had no problem with high speed either. Love em!!

The demo experience was very good and I LOVE my Deathwish 112's! The staff is awesome and knowledgeable. My only constructive criticism would be your hours. It would be nice if you were open saturdays for it was tough sometimes to get there during working hours. Best Ski ever. Thanks!

Absolute phenomenal skis. Great for all conditions. They surf powder, cut crud, carve well, and are playful. My last pair was the Deathwish and so will be my next pair.

Have skied on these for about ten days in powder and powder on top of firm conditions. Handled both great. Might have sized up in length as seem to prefer the bigger lines to tighter trees and could have used the extra length for that extra stability. Great addition to the quiver.

Ive been eying these for a few years and pulled the trigger this season. I’m 53 and typically ski one western us trip per year. I was a bit nervous that these might be too much ski for me. I read that they take a few days to get used to. I didn't need any acclimating. This past week i skied Sun Valley on groomed, crud, and about 4” of fresh snow. These were a significant improvement in all conditions encountered vs my old skis. Cant wait to get them in deeper snow. Buy them.

I havent had these skis for all that long, but ive skied them on bullet-proof ice, thigh deep powder and some in between. Im blown away by how versatile these skis are. Intuitive skis that feel at home in all of the conditions that i've encountered so far. Just make sure you're ready to rip, these things like to charge.

I spent a lot of time perusing the opinions of each and every keyboard warrior who's ever slapped a pair of these polarizing planks on their feet. I sided with the "Deathwish is the best ever ski" camp, as their presence seems to outweigh that of the "triple camber is weird" gang. Turns out I made the right call. Love 'em. Will be ordering a pair of the 14 tours when it's time to re-up the BC quiver.

These skis are amazing in any condition it seems to excel anywhere I take it on the mountain. Moment definitely gained a long term fan these skis are 10/10 in every category.

If you’re debating it, do it. These are the best skis I have come in contact with, they rip any condition you throw them in. They bite ice and float powder while being fun and playful. Honestly I may have to sell the other skis I have because I don’t see me ever riding another pair. The top sheet is a little fragile but when these are your daily driver what can you expect. The service at the shop was also top notch. I can say I have joined the cult.
