The Monster of Mayhem | Freestyle DNA / Freeride Backbone

Forget categories — the Countach 110 doesn’t care what shelf you put it on. Freeride, freestyle, all mountain, powder, chop destroyer? Sure, pick one. Hell, pick as many as you’d like, and the Countach 110 will deliver. With a hefty European beech core, a big shovel up front, and a low tail that still kicks, the Countach 110 busts through chop, floats in the deep, slashes between trees, and gives you all the confidence you need for those high speed runouts. Best part of all? It’ll bail you out without a second thought if you bite off more than you can chew. This isn’t a ski that fits somewhere nicely in your perfectly thought out quiver — it’s the ski you build your quiver around.

      • This is a general guideline and is only a basic suggestion of the proper size. Where you ski, how you ski, and what skis you've ridden in the past should be taken into consideration.
      • The Countach is a stiff, directional freeride ski with rocker. This means it will be stable at speed while retaining maneuverability and playfulness.
      • If you are still on the fence and ski confidently and aggressively size up. If you ski more conservatively or timidly size down.
      • Beginner assumes a basic understanding of and ability to ski. For those who have never skied or cannot ski down runs without falling we recommend renting/demoing to start.
If you are unsure, have questions, or feel your recommended size is incorrect, please chat, call or email us. We are happy to discuss specific sizing based on your build, skiing style, and existing quiver / past skis.

    ingredients

Full length, knot free, vertically laminated in house. Strong, damp and burly, European beech provides the pinnacle of composure and calmness at the highest speeds in the most challenging conditions.

Extruded sidewalls constructed of modified Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) provide stiffness, dampening, and durability, which allow for more impact resistance and easier repairs that stay put so you can bring the abuse year after year, season after season.

A custom blend of triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber that provides torsional rigidity along with longitudinal pop and composure at speed.

We use a textured nylon topsheet material enhanced with sublimated graphics‒a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to silkscreen. We chose this topsheet material to ensure optimal durability and impact resistance while maintaining crisp and bright graphics.

Skis are tools not treasures and that means they need to take a beating which is why we use recycled, carbon infused sintered UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Harder, faster and with better wax absorption and retention than extruded bases this is the industry leader for performance and longevity.

Rubberized VDS foil is placed at strategic locations throughout the construction to increase bond strength and provide vibration damping for more stability and increased control.

There are only a handful of edge manufacturers in the world. We go straight to the source for the best of the best. We use only 2.2mm Rockwell 48 hardened steel edges. Heat treated additionally in house to ensure you get nothing but the absolute most out of your skis.

    Love my Countach 110

Love my setup from Moment. They were easy to work with. Sent my products quickly and were fast to respond when I had questions. My Countach 110’s are hitting the sweet spot in my quiver and may be replacing some other skis in my quiver. They crush crud, have a great edge old in steep, tech and are comfortable cruising the blues on the way back to the chair. Build quality is strong with 10 days under them so far. My only regret is that I bought them too late in the season. Can’t wait for next season.

    Love these Big Doggies

My daily drivers are the DW104 with the DW being my playful pow sticks. I wanted something with a bit more ass for those resort pow turned chop days. The 188 Countach’s are the ticket. For a resort pow day out west and at my size (6’ 160lbs) they float awesome. They’re pretty surfy and maneuverable (not quite as surfy/turny as the DW, but not a handful, either). When things get tracked they smash. Exactly what I was looking for. The cons? It’s a big, relatively stiff ski. When things firm up and get bumpy they are a handful. That’s when I hop back to the 184 DW104. I’m sure sizing down on the Countach would help, but that wasn’t what I was looking for…. Anyway 10/10. Would recommend and would buy again. The only question is if I need a Countach 104 for the firm days.

    stiff

I currently ski on the 104-I was wanting a wider ski for bigger days. Not enjoying the extra stiffness in the 110's. I'm an expert 35 year retired ski patroller at 66 years of age. I can ski the 110's but I don't feel like being in the driver seat 100% of the time. I did the same with the commander so I should have known. It seemed the old 110 govner was the best for me. Big, forgiving, all around with a flat tail. oh well. By the way this is my 18th pair of moments.
