  • Meridian 107

High Maneuverability and High Stability - The Playful Skier's Powerhouse

The Meridian 107 redefines what full rocker can do, shedding the soft, floppy designs of the past for a stiff, long, low-rise profile that charges through chop, carves firm snow, and stays stable at speeds through the roughest and toughest of conditions. With an uncanny ability to mix surfiness and quickness with confidence and composure, the Meridian 107 slots into a quiver like mac n cheese at the Thanksgiving table — not necessary but just doesn’t quite feel right without it. This is full rocker fully realized; aggressive, adaptable, and backed by a loyal crew.

      • This is a general guideline and is only a basic suggestion of the proper size. Where you ski, how you ski, and what skis you've ridden in the past should be taken into consideration.
      • The Meridian is a stiff, fully rockered all mountain ski. This means it will maneuver easily while maintaining stability at speeds, don't be afraid to size up.
      • If you are still on the fence and ski confidently and aggressively size up. If you ski more conservatively or timidly size down.
      • Beginner assumes a basic understanding of and ability to ski. For those who have never skied or cannot ski down runs without falling we recommend renting/demoing to start.
If you are unsure, have questions, or feel your recommended size is incorrect, please chat, call or email us. We are happy to discuss specific sizing based on your build, skiing style, and existing quiver / past skis.

    Full Rocker

    ingredients

Full length, knot free, vertically laminated in house. Our poplar / ash core provides a unique blend of liveliness and outstanding dampening, allowing for playful platforms that charge hard.

Extruded sidewalls constructed of modified Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) provide stiffness, dampening, and durability, which allow for more impact resistance and easier repairs that stay put so you can bring the abuse year after year, season after season.

A custom blend of triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber that provides torsional rigidity along with longitudinal pop and composure at speed.

We use a textured nylon topsheet material enhanced with sublimated graphics‒a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to silkscreen. We chose this topsheet material to ensure optimal durability and impact resistance while maintaining crisp and bright graphics.

Skis are tools not treasures and that means they need to take a beating which is why we use carbon infused sintered UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Harder, faster and with better wax absorption and retention than extruded bases this is the industry leader for performance and longevity.

Rubberized VDS foil is placed at strategic locations throughout the construction to increase bond strength and provide vibration damping for more stability and increased control.

There are only a handful of edge manufacturers in the world. We go straight to the source for the best of the best. We use only 2.2mm Rockwell 48 hardened steel edges. Heat treated additionally in house to ensure you get nothing but the absolute most out of your skis.

Most fun I've had on skis. Never skied full rocker before these, so was stoked to try them out on the demo program. From the first turns I knew they were special. Lay them on edge and they can rip some turns, yet they pivot so easily in tight spaces. They're OK in deep powder, and terrifying on ice, but if you have multiple skis to choose from these are the go-to on everything in between. They're the perfect resort powder day ski for Tahoe where after the first run you're in chop all day.

Can you have too much fun?

I've not skied anything like these. After about 25 days on them I'm not often picking another ski to ride unless it's quite icy, crunchy, or overly firm. These shine and respond well to a full throttle approach and I've not found them kind to me when I tucker out and get a bit lazy. If you've seen or felt how a surf turn can get the fins free and start a slash slide slash sort of movement - these get loose like that. Any feature that gives a wavelike profile is just ripe for the type of turns I really thought only a snowboard or surfboard could bash. They have helped me attempt a bit of improvisation in riding that I've been seeking for quite a while. On anything a bit soft I feel like I grow snake hips. I also have to remind myself that I'm getting a bit on in age and really ought not go the speeds they are so stable and comfortable doing. They're so good in chop, fresh, slush and chunder.

    Reverse camber with Slayer attitude

My favorite Moment ski. Reverse camber but not soft. Stiff and heavy as it should be. Destroys chop while singing Whitney. Ridiculous charging fun in any remotely soft snow. Best for playful aggressive skiers. Reverse camber skis are funny - there is no suspension from the camber and so can be sketchy and jarring on ice or icy crud. But they can carve incredibly laid over and they pivot and drift like a dream. They do great in bad snow as long as it’s not rock hard. Way more mass and hard to deflect than a Deathwish but way more pivoty and loose at same time. Perfect in a lineup with a Commander for hardback and crud and a powder ski - call up Moment to discuss which one, they are chatty.
